Description:

Ideal for Radiologists who understand the basics of MSK Ultrasound and MRI and who would like to progress to reporting more intermediate to advanced cases and learn the latest techniques and advances in MSK Ultrasound imaging. Also ideal for those who would like special training in Upper and Lower limb nerve and muscle anatomy and injections techniques.

This course gives a chance to fill in all the gaps of knowledge in Musculoskeletal MRI reporting and practice of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. This will be gained by answering individual delegate queries and running through carefully selected video cases that highlights pathology that residents, fellows and general radiologists commonly miss. Description:

This intensive hands-on conference and workshop allows radiologists to report on basic MSK MRI and perform screening and/or diagnostics ultrasound with at least 95% accuracy. Homework, together with a reporting template, will be given at the end of each day. Numerous MRI videos are specially chosen as they show the pathology that is missed in common day to day reporting resulting in low accuracies even by those who think they are already reporting 95% accurately. Practical ultrasound sessions are divided into existing level of expertise to cater for those with prior basic knowledge to progress to intermediate/advanced level.

The course will emphasize practical tips and pearls not found in textbooks. The demonstrators consist of well-established teachers and trainers from Asia and Europe who have done thousands of Musculoskeletal ultrasound cases for diagnosis and also interventional cases. Accurate diagnosis based on clinical history, simple physical stress tests and imaging findings will be highlighted for ultrasound. Limited to 48 places only to enable small group hands-on training.

  1. 9th Global Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course with Basic MRI Correlation for Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine, Rheumatologists and Rehabilitation Specialists

Description:

This course is ideal for Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine, Rheumatologists and Rehabilitation Specialists.

Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Specialists: There will be 2 levels – Basic and Intermediate. Basic training is for those who have not attended any proper hands-on courses before and the Intermediate level is for those who use MSK Ultrasound regularly.

 Rheumatology Specialists: This course is for those who have attended MSR/EULAR courses before giving you training in a small group for two whole days with Professor Dr George Bruyn on advanced Rheumatological ultrasound. Learn the new technique for synovitis screening of small joints of the hands which is much easier and more accurate than the current method taught at EULAR courses.

Rehabilitation Specialists: This will be a special treat as there will be rotational training by 3 expert facilitators at each session. The 3 rotations at each session are Cross-sectional muscle identification with a Rehab Specialist, Confirmation by tracing method from distal tendons with a Rehab Specialist, and Orthopaedic joint tendon, and ligament and muscle injury with an experienced Musculoskeletal Radiologist.
