The conference hall had a high ceiling with one large screen and overhead projector and another side screen for full viewing by all . Food and accommodation in the venue is excellent. Attending the Global Hands-On Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course with Basic MRI Video Pathology Workshop for Physicians & General Practitioners held on 18th and 19th May 2025 at Maya Hotel, KL was an incredibly enriching and transformative experience.
Led by Prof. Dr John George, Senior Consultant MSK Radiologist, the programme was a masterclass in the art and precision of musculoskeletal imaging.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the opportunity to learn from Prof Dr John George, an experienced orthopaedic joint and muscle musculoskeletal radiologist with a deep understanding of rheumatology ultrasound. This interdisciplinary approach was particularly valuable—it enhanced our technical skills in orthopaedic joint and muscle scanning , rehabilitation scanning and unique methods of rheumatology scanning for RA from a musculoskeletal radiologist perspective .
What set this workshop apart was the calibre of participants and faculty alike. I had the privilege of learning alongside dedicated clinicians from a range of specialties also from senior Musculoskeletal radiologists from Singapore (Dr Ashutosh), India (Dr Matthew) and locally (Dr Aida, Dr Emie ) and Dr Sheela a rehabilitation physician, each bringing their own perspectives, challenges, and shared commitment to improving patient outcomes through advanced imaging techniques.
